Sean Alistair is a Queer Canadian-born Outsider artist currently residing in the Bavarian countryside of Germany with his husband and young daughter. His art is a visual journal where he discusses the intense impact of how seemingly mundane or innocuous experiences can be to someone who is not only queer but also neurodivergent.

Seans photographic practice explores identity through a dreamlike lense often collaborating with other artists and creatives from his community. He focuses on portraiture in order to confront the viewer directly creating a sense of discomfort or intimacy.

For almost 20 years, Sean Alistair has worked as a Visual Merchandiser and Stylist for renowned companies such as Fjallraven, Anthropologie, J.Crew, Esprit, and the luxury department store Nordstrom based out of Seattle.
